The audit report was an excellent and informative piece of work.

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT)

The difference
Kinetic helped Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) to understand how its stakeholders felt about the organisation.
This gave BSMHFT the information it needed to influence positive culture change and continue to drive the Trust’s services forward.
Kinetic brought clarity to the Trust’s internal communications, analysing stakeholder feedback closely to draw conclusions that will fuel the Trust’s future communications:
BSMHFT’s work with Kinetic:
- Obtained anonymous and honest feedback from all the Trust’s stakeholder groups – from service users to politicians and commissioners to partners.
- Gave the Trust the information it needed to drive positive change across the organisation’s communications, both internally and externally.
- Made strategic recommendations based on feedback to support the Trust’s implementation of the audit feedback
PR that strengthens internal communications
BSMHFT is – like many mental health provisions – under pressure to meet increasing demand.
The stakeholder audit measured the consistency of the health authority’s culture by:
- Interviewing 31 key stakeholders – across all the Trust’s stakeholder groups, obtaining both qualitative and quantitative feedback
- Analysing and categorising feedback with evidenced points, anonymised quotes and graphs
- Producing a 65-page report for presentation to the board, which will fuel the Trust’s future communications priorities – both operationally and culturally (internally and externally)
- Summarising the report in a simple PowerPoint to ensure its key points were easily digestible by all senior team members
