Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust ‘PR that clarifies perceptions’
The difference
Kinetic ran an anonymous and objective stakeholder audit on behalf of the Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to assess how it was perceived.
Following a merger with Walsall NHS Trust, the Black Country Trust wanted a ‘stake in the ground’ of where both reputations were strong and where they needed to focus their energies going forwards.
An audit was designed to gauge the strength of relationships with stakeholders and to identify opportunities for future collaboration.
The audit opened conversations between stakeholders and leaders for honest feedback and recommendations on their practices.
The audit helped by:
- Connecting honest and anonymous feedback from a range of stakeholders including MPs, councillors, GPs, voluntary sector representatives and regulators.
- Setting a benchmark for ‘where we are now’ – ensuring future impacts can be measured.
- Defining priorities and next steps for the direction of the communications strategy.
PR that’s easy to understand
On behalf of the Black Country Trust, Kinetic compiled feedback from 36 stakeholder interviews across seven key groups.
To ensure the report was cogent, Kinetic:
- Designed interview questions to address key areas of opinion around the Trust’s identity, communications and practices.
- Analysed the data to generate overviews of the trust’s strengths and weaknesses, highlighting salient and high-priority concerns.
- Organised and displayed anonymous feedback in tables and graphs, creating easy breakdowns of the key points.
- Connected salient benchmark data – how the Trust is doing now – with ideas for future development.
